Workshops and courses
Eva Mamlok Fanzine-Workshop for ages 8 to 12.
About
A fanzine workshop for children and young people aged 8 to 12: using a simple folding technique, a single sheet becomes an 8-page magazine that, when unfolded completely, even turns into a large A3 poster. Alexandra Weltz-Rombach and the artist Ursula Böckler lead the workshop, in which participants use drawings, texts and ideas to tell the story of Eva Mamlok – a young Jewish resistance fighter against the Nazis who, together with other women, distributed leaflets, wrote slogans on house walls and organized a secret library. The workshop is part of the initiative „Utopisches Erinnern – Partizipative Jugendprojekte am Eva-Mamlok-Platz“ by WeTeK Berlin, which takes the renaming of Blücherplatz to Eva-Mamlok-Platz in October 2026 as a starting point for participatory remembrance. The meeting point is the museum entrance, registration is by email to [email protected], and admission is free.
