Frauen machen Druck

Frauen machen Druck (Women Make Print) is an open, free workshop for people who understand themselves as women and has been a place of meeting, mutual politicisation, support and getting closer to graphic art since 2021. The participants are very different in age, nationality, language, life experience, immigration status, social class and educational background. Together they learn linocut printing, produce their own images and organise exhibitions, workshops and creative protest actions. The initiative was founded by Yili Rojas, a Latin American anti-racism speaker, artist and educator living in Berlin, to empower other migrant women; the participants organise the meetings themselves on a voluntary basis.
