Volunteer planting day for a dementia care home's garden.

A volunteer planting day in which the garden of a assisted-living home for people with dementia is redesigned close to nature. The action is organised by the Independent Institute for Environmental Concerns (UfU) as part of the Co-ADAPT project funded by the European Union. Volunteers plant shrubs and herbs, build a deadwood hedge and plant a raised bed. This creates habitats for animals and plants as well as a green place with more quality of life for the residents.
