From Draft to Direction: A Writing Course with Celina Baljeet Basra

A writing course for people who already have words on the page, made up of six Tuesday evenings. Berlin-based novelist, interdisciplinary curator and art historian Celina Baljeet Basra, whose debut novel HAPPY was published by Astra House in 2023 and selected as a New York Times Editors' Choice, guides participants through questions of voice, structure and sustaining a piece of work. Sharmaine joins the opening and closing sessions to share her perspective on the journey from manuscript to published book. Registration by email is required and closes on 27 October.
