About
"Genossen! Stillgestanden! – DDR-Comedy mit Bockwurst und Kartoffelsalat*" is a comedy show about the "good old" GDR days, with Bockwurst and potato salad optionally bookable but not included in the ticket price. Under the strict – and definitely not voluntary – leadership of Sergeant Wichtig, supposedly the last surviving section officer of the German Democratic Mountain Republic, plain truths are spoken. With a sharp eye, dry humour and a good portion of East nostalgia, the show moves through quirky memories, absurd rules and the quirks of everyday life in the GDR. The former head of state also speaks up once more – with plenty of "state-certified" punchlines.
