„Gretchens Märchenstunde“ is a monthly fairy-tale hour for children up to 8 years old and their accompanying adults, with no registration needed. It is run by the Familienbibliothek Else Ury, which invites visitors to its „Gretchens Märchenwelt“. Several fairy tales from around the world are told freely, this time spooky tales following Halloween. These include „Der Teufel mit den drei goldenen Haaren“ and „Märchen von einem, der auszog, das Fürchten zu lernen“ by the Brothers Grimm as well as the Danish folk tale „Die Prinzessin im Sarge“.
