About

"Hakayana – Workshopreihe zum selber ins Erzählen kommen" is a workshop series where participants learn to tell their own stories freely, using different languages and words as well as voice and the whole body. The first session focuses on biographical storytelling: finding your own stories. The series is led by storytelling artists Mohammed and Annika of Hakaya 2.0, a cooperation project between the Mittelpunktbibliothek Wilhelm Liebknecht / Namık Kemal library and Kotti e.V. marking the association's 40th anniversary. The workshops mostly take place in German but can be translated into Kurmanji, Arabic, English, Spanish or through gestures, and participation is free of charge.
