Händel – ein Portrait

“Händel – ein Portrait” is a concert in the Galerie Kulturhaus devoted to the life and musical work of Georg Friedrich Händel. It is part of the KlassiKlatsch series and lasts 120 minutes including an intermission. Flautist Franziska-Marie Scholz and pianist Caspar Jörns play selected compositions by Händel, while the actress and speaker Nina Cecini reads from texts offering insights into the composer's life. The composer, born in Halle an der Saale and spending much of his life in Great Britain, was also a fascinating personality with an eventful and varied life.
