Hochschultag: best graduates honoured, festive talk, music.

The Hochschultag is an annual celebration at the Berliner Hochschule für Technik where the university leadership honours the best graduates of the past academic year and awards students and teachers for prizes and outstanding teaching. It takes place each year on the third Wednesday of November, this time in the Haus Grashof building in the Ingeborg-Meising-Saal. The programme includes awards and honours, a festive lecture by Dr. Sigrid Evelyn Nikutta on 'Die MINT-Kraft: shaping the world with academic studies', and musical accompaniment by the Swing Ensemble, the BHT orchestra and the BHT choir. The day is lecture-free, following the third block.
