Hoffnung, die ins Handeln kommt – Themenabend mit Prof. Dr. Christian von Hirschhausen
Auenkirche, Wilhelmsaue 119, 10715 Berlin, Wilmersdorf
About
A theme evening with a talk and discussion about hope that grows from faith and leads to action for and with our fellow human beings. The speaker is Klaus Mertes, a theologian and educator, head of the Sankt-Ansgar-Schule in Hamburg and superior of the Jesuit community in Berlin-Charlottenburg. Under the title „Exerzitien auf der Straße“ it asks whether renewing encounters with the Risen One, as experienced by the disciples on the road to Emmaus, still happen today. The evening takes place in the parish hall, followed by the chance to talk over a drink.
