“Hör mal! Wir machen ein Hörspiel” is a hands-on event for families with children aged about four and up, where an audio play is created live: a story is set to sound with instruments, everyday objects, voices and a loop station. It is run by Ingmar Kurenbach of tomatenklang, a non-profit music school in Berlin that makes music a shared activity regardless of prior experience or budget. The children don't just listen – they invent sounds, try out noises and help decide how the story will sound. It takes place at the Bibliothek am Wasserturm; registration by email is available.
