Calligraphy workshop with Katja Tränkner: Christmas cards.

Kalligrafisch in Weihnachtsstimmung is a workshop at the Brecht-Weigel-Museum that introduces hand-written letters using so-called broad-edge tools. The course is led by Katja Tränkner; the basis is Humanist Italic, an elegant, narrow script that can be written very fluidly and works well as a beginner's hand. At the end of the course, participants playfully design cards and small Christmas objects. The course costs 17€/15€ including materials and museum admission.
