A Kimjang party in Kreuzberg: making kimchi together, sharing a meal, and taking your own jar home. It is hosted by 움:UM Berlin, who run Korean food and culture workshops. The party brings the Korean tradition of communities gathering before winter to make a large amount of kimchi at once to Berlin – less a class, more a party. For Halloween you get a Korean grandma-style kimjang vest, and costumes are welcome too.
