About
"Klingende Bilder – hüpfende Töne" is a two-day creative workshop in which children craft their own figures and shapes from paper and, step by step, make short animated films together. The films are then given their own soundtracks using voices, everyday sounds, instruments and sound experiments, letting the children playfully discover how image and sound interact. The workshop draws inspiration from experimental films of early cinema and the colourful animations of Oskar Fischinger. It takes place at the Deutsche Kinemathek in cooperation with Jugend im Museum e. V., is open to children aged 8 and up, and is free of charge.
