Reading and talk for Günter de Bruyn's 100th birthday.

The event "Lesung und Vortrag: Günter de Bruyn" is a reading with talk and conversation in the BIESDORFER BEGEGNUNG series. It is dedicated to the writer Günter de Bruyn, who wrote in the GDR and in reunified Germany and would have turned 100 on 1 November. The guests are Wolfgang de Bruyn, son of the honoree and trustee of the Günter-de-Bruyn-Stiftung, and the author Carola Wiemers, editor of the book "Einmal im Leben möchte ich in Küstrin gewesen sein. Günter de Bruyns Märkische Fahrten"; Axel Matthies, deputy chairman of the association Freunde Schloss Biesdorf e. V., moderates. First, passages from Günter de Bruyn's early work in the GDR are read aloud, then Carola Wiemers reads from her recently published book, and finally Wolfgang de Bruyn shares memories of his father; the book can be purchased on site.
