About
“Leuchtende Papierkugeln” (Glowing Paper Balls) is a workshop in which participants tear and layer thin, light-permeable papers around a balloon, working colorful shapes, patterns and small paper motifs into the shell. A paper ball of your own emerges, later fitted with a hanger and a battery-powered LED light you bring, turning it into a lantern. The workshop is run by the Museum Haus des Papiers. It consists of a two-hour design session plus a short session for finishing and pick-up.
