Lube Visions – Perverting the Erotic as Power - Expanded Visions of Porn.

"Lube Visions: Perverting the Erotic as Power: Expanded Visions of Porn." is a short film programme of eight erotic and pornographic films. Taking Audre Lorde's essay "The Uses of the Erotic: The Erotic as Power" as its starting point, it shows how expanded pornography crosses gender boundaries and can wrest power over sexuality and sex work from the patriarchal-neoliberal state. The films carry the body as the first site of the political into the street, the imagination, the digital and the archive, from insights into sex work to confronting the rise of the far right in Germany. The programme is part of the Common Visions Berlin film series at Sinema Transtopia.
