About
A concert from the series „Manuale des Jetzt“ as part of „Nikolai-Musik am Freitag“ at the Nikolaikirche. Curated by the composer and organist Alexander Moosbrugger, it accompanies the special exhibition „Chorus – Eine Sound-Installation von Annika Kahrs“. It brings together works by figures from the visual arts, including Hanne Darboven, Lyonel Feininger and Annika Kahrs, with organ music of past eras. Sound works by art students enter into an exchange with organ music from earlier centuries; the curator also plays works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Ruth Zechlin, Hanne Darboven and Christoph Herndler.
