Wenn du einen Wal sehen willst: play for children aged 4+.

“Martin Heesch - Wenn du einen Wal sehen willst” is a theatre piece for children aged four and up at the Showfenster Theater in Berlin-Reinickendorf. It is freely adapted from the children’s book of the same name by Julie Fogliano and Erin E. Stead. It is about waiting for a whale: look at the sea with both eyes and wait – but waiting alone can be quite boring and exhausting. Luckily things like fragrant roses, bizarre cloud shapes, a pirate ship or a pelican distract us and invite daydreaming – but will the longed-for whale still be seen in the end?
