Metalfestival KRACH.VON.OBEN — Rýr, War, Deibel & 100000 Tonnen Kruppstahl

Metalfestival KRACH.VON.OBEN is an evening of metal music with three bands at the Friedenskirche Charlottenburg. The festival is hosted by the Baptist congregation of the Friedenskirche, with Rýr, Deibel and 100000 Tonnen Kruppstahl performing. The bands aim to show that music that looks hard and dark at first glance can still convey a clear, positive stance. Rýr plays instrumental post-metal and takes a stand against racism, homophobia and sexism, while for Deibel and 100000 Tonnen Kruppstahl the crunching names are, according to the organizers, show rather than statement.
