Trueke*-Markt: swap, share recipes, get creative.

The Trueke*-Markt invites people to take part, exchange and learn together: well-preserved items can be swapped, culinary memories shared at recipe speed dating, and greeting cards made at an open creative station. Open Desk and Open Mic offer space for ideas and stories – a lively place of encounter where knowledge, creativity and solidarity take centre stage instead of consumption. Behind the event are the artists Jorge Tadeo Baldeón – Koki, who lives and works in Peru and Germany and connects global and local social processes through artistic media, and Ruben Manuel Gonzales, who works in Berlin as a performative reader and interdisciplinary artist curating spaces of encounter at long tables. The name comes from the Spanish word „Trueque“, meaning barter or trade without money. Registration for better planning is requested.
