About
A concert by the ARKO Ensemble, a project ensemble of young Korean musicians active on European stages. It is presented by the Korean Cultural Centre together with the Arts Council Korea (ARKO), which offers performance opportunities to young talents in Europe and North America to strengthen the reach of „K-Classics“ on the international stage. For the Berlin concert, seven musicians come together who work artistically in Cologne, Mannheim, Berlin, Paris and other cities, with Jonghun Bae as artistic director. The programme spans works by Chopin, Beethoven, Schumann, Schubert, Godard, Poulenc, Fauré, Puccini and Tchaikovsky up to „What a Wonderful World“ and is supported under the project „Touring K-Arts“ by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and KOFICE.
