The Offenes Nähcafé invites everyone who wants to learn sewing with a machine, carry out their own projects, repair, alter or upcycle clothing, and sew together with others. It is run by the Stadtbibliothek Berlin-Mitte, with expert guidance and household sewing machines, overlock and heavy-duty machines available. Accessories, repair materials and a small selection of fabrics are provided. Beginners and experienced sewers are warmly welcome.
