Open Studio – Im Glanz der Berliner Nacht 1910–1930

The Open Studio is a drop-in workshop at the Neue Nationalgalerie with no registration required, and you can join at any time. Together with artists and mediators from different disciplines, this edition is all about creative writing: under the title „Schreib dir dein Berlin“, participants explore how people experienced the metropolis of Berlin in the 1910s to 1930s, expressing their own experience of the city in notes, collages and fragments, inspired by images and texts from around 1920. The programme is part of the series „Volkswagen Group Art4All“ and is aimed at teenagers and families. It takes place at the mediation table in the ground-floor hall and admission is free.
