Ozan Zakariya Keskinkılıç: "Hundesohn"
About
Ozan Zakariya Keskinkılıç reads from his debut novel “Hundesohn” at the Bezirkszentralbibliothek Pablo Neruda, moderated by Georgina Fakunmoju. The novel tells a love story: Zeko lives in Berlin, meeting men in parks, cafés and on dating apps, but whenever their lips touch his thoughts drift back to Hassan, the neighbour's boy in Adana whom his grandfather only ever called “Hundesohn”. The book tells radically and poetically of love and desire, of euphoria and vulnerability, fear and happiness. Keskinkılıç, born in 1989, studied political science and in 2025 was among others awarded the ZDF-»aspekte«-Literaturpreis.
