Poetry Slam: Kalleslam – Winterspecial

The Kalleslam is a poetry slam at Kulturhaus Karlshorst, hosted by Ortwin Bader-Iskraut since 2015. Performances from an open list are joined by a musical feature, and sometimes the biggest names of the slam scene drop by when they are on tour in Berlin. There are also socialist struggle prizes at the bar and rustic old-school bar staff – practically a pub slam without the pub. Those who want to perform simply come to the box office by 6:45 pm; there are usually at least three spots, and if too many sign up, lots are drawn.
