SIR

SIR, the Berlin actress and singer Saskia Inken Rutner, presents a concert evening between singer-songwriter pop, chanson and big-city poetry. She sings songs about wild nights, back courtyards and those small moments in which sadness turns into courage and laughter. The programme features songs from her album „…statt Hollywood schaukeln“ plus unreleased material, alongside her own reworkings of songs by the Rolling Stones, Hildegard Knef or Frank Sinatra. Together with Elisabeth King on piano and Ethan Schaffner on electric guitar and bass, she creates a melancholy yet humorous sound with her unmistakable Berlin edge.
