Special Screening: Double Feature – The Neon Demon & Her Private Hell

This special screening presents two films back to back, joined by an English-language talk between the showings. Director Nicolas Winding Refn appears in person, ten years after THE NEON DEMON, whose follow-up HER PRIVATE HELL now returns to the big screen. In the first film, aspiring model Jesse moves to Los Angeles, where her youth and vitality are devoured by a group of beauty-obsessed women who stop at nothing. In the second, a mysterious fog envelops a futuristic metropolis and unleashes a deadly creature, sending a young woman out to find her father while crossing paths with a soldier on a torturous odyssey to rescue his daughter from hell.
