About
A weekly language café where people meet over coffee, tea and snacks in a relaxed atmosphere. It takes place in the rooms of the Erinnerungsstätte Notaufnahmelager Marienfelde and is aimed especially at adults who want to learn German and simply speak it. Conversation is in German; individual words are translated into Arabic, Farsi, Kurdish or English when needed, and difficult words are written on the board. Old and new neighbours get to know each other and exchange ideas.
