About
STOP MAKING SENSE is a concert film that follows the intense live performances across three evenings at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood. Shot in 1984 by Jonathan Demme, it shows and plays the most memorable songs of the Talking Heads. Appearing are band members David Byrne, Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz and Jerry Harrison as well as Bernie Worrell, Alex Weir, Steve Scales, Lynn Mabry and Edna Holt. For its 40th anniversary, the legendary film, called by many critics the best concert film of all time, was restored in 4K.

Critics
8.5Outstanding
Critics praise the band's infectious energy, Byrne's charismatic stage presence, and Demme's clean, unobtrusive staging of the concert. Many call it the greatest concert film ever made, and serious faults are scarcely mentioned.
