STRAUSWERK is a festival of contemporary Georgian culture making its debut in Berlin. It brings together artists from across Georgia's cultural spectrum: indie rock, psychedelic synth-pop, electronic music and club culture, alongside stand-up comedy, photography, sculpture and installations. A modern, outward-looking generation of Georgian artists has built an independent scene under considerable social and political pressure, and the event shares this lively, evolving community without presenting an idealized picture of the country. Georgian food and wine will also be part of the mix.
