THE KOBAYASHI BOOKSTORE & THE GROOVY CELLAR

About
A concert evening with two indie pop bands: The Groovy Cellar from Berlin and The Kobayashi Bookstore from the UK. The Berlin band, around since 1991, plays a sound of its own between sixties beat, Northern Soul and indie pop, while the British band, formed in 2023, brings the spirit of 1960s beat and pop with multi-part vocals and witty lyrics. Shared shows and a joint vinyl release have grown into a friendship that reaches beyond the music. Entry is free.
