TOMMY WÁ - Berlin, Prachtwerk

A concert evening with the Nigerian musician Tommy WÁ, who brings his "Hope Our Paths Cross" tour to Prachtwerk. He blends the musical traditions of West Africa with indie-folk, retro-soul and atmospheric songwriting – shaped by Nigerian legends like King Sunny Adé and the diversity of African pop music he discovered after moving to Accra. His sound carries warm acoustic guitars, driving rhythms and layered arrangements, while his lyrics tell of identity, love, youth and spirituality. At the centre are his new album "Hope Our Paths Cross" and an evening of quiet intimacy, poetic stories and irresistible groove.
