Toprope course: learn belaying and earn your licence.

The Topropekurs is a basic course for beginners that provides an entry into independent climbing. It is run by the DAV Kletterzentrum Berlin. The course teaches belaying techniques for climbing and belaying on routes that are already set up (with the rope hanging from above); the focus is on learning solid belaying technique. After the course, participants can climb and belay independently in the centre's toprope routes, and successful participation earns the Toprope climbing licence.
