The Topropekurs is a beginner climbing course offering an entry into independent climbing on pre-set toprope routes. It is run by the DAV Kletterzentrum Berlin. The focus is on learning solid belaying technique, covering harness, tie-in knot, the Jul² belay device, carabiner and partner checks. After successful participation, participants can climb and belay independently on the climbing centre's toprope routes.
