Total Refusal & Theater im Bahnhof – Let’s Play I Am Old and Tired

A theatre evening taking place inside a video game: the Vienna media guerrilla group Total Refusal and the collective Theater im Bahnhof create a performance live before the audience, using gaming laptops and live direction. At its centre is a tired hero who wants to lead a withdrawn life in the game's mountains – a counter-image to the eternally young, motivated avatar. It is a story about escapism and exhaustion, about growing older and tiredness, and about what superpowers a hero who no longer wants to fight might develop.
