About
A weekly class in contact improvisation for GBTQ men* of all experience levels, where touch is the starting point for discovering dance movements. After an introductory getting-to-know-each-other, a guided exploration leads from somatic practice to contact dance improvisations, followed by free-flowing dance in duos, trios and as a group, closing with bodywork. The class is led by Jochen Kleres and/or Zahiro Ji – a dance therapist and sociologist, and a Certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner with a background in contemporary dance. It values consent, respect, listening and a judgment-free space meant to foster community and a sense of liberation.
