Protest against motorway loans, for rail expansion.

A protest action in front of the Bundestag against a planned law that would allow the Autobahn GmbH to take out loans for motorway construction from 2027. Behind the action are the Bündnis Verkehrsinitiativen, Bi A100, BUND Berlin and A100 wegbassen. They criticise that loans would be shifted from the federal budget into a company allowed to go into debt itself, ultimately hitting taxpayers, while the Federal Court of Auditors warns of additional costs. The demand is to shift investments towards rail expansion.
