Vincent Babl & Moritz Ebert: cello meets guitar.

An evening with two musicians presenting their own sound worlds on cello and guitar before entering, for the first time on this night, into an open musical dialogue. Vincent Babl, a guitarist and composer from Regensburg, builds layered sonic landscapes with acoustic guitar, unusual open tunings, loops and electronic effects, moving between atmospheric folk, ambient and experimental instrumental music. Moritz Ebert, a cellist living in Berlin, is classically trained and also deeply engaged with jazz, electronic music and free improvisation, exploring his instrument beyond traditional genre boundaries. Cello and guitar meet amid acoustic sounds, electronic textures, loops and effects, as melodies emerge, transform and dissolve again.
