Vivaldis Vier Jahreszeiten

A classical concert featuring Vivaldi's "Vier Jahreszeiten" (The Four Seasons), four violin concertos that bring nature, animals and human moods in the changing seasons vividly to life. Behind the evening is the Festival Orchester Berlin, a multicultural ensemble of musicians from leading European orchestras that has delighted audiences for 30 years with works from the Baroque, Viennese Classical and Romantic periods. In these annual concerts the ensemble devotes itself to the Venetian master Antonio Vivaldi, who created the work in 1725. The programme is rounded off with further highlights for violin and chamber orchestra, performed on historical Italian instruments for a particularly warm and authentic sound.
