VOLKSTANZ Workshop mit ANTOINE SENGERS

A folk dance workshop for beginners and advanced dancers, teaching circle dances from a wide range of styles, mainly from the eastern Mediterranean and the Balkans. Behind the workshop is Antoine Sengers, a folk dance coach in Berlin who, in his gentle and patient manner, conveys the joy of life of dancing peoples and shows the matching step sequences. It starts with simple steps, and later somewhat more complex variations are practiced; no dance partner is needed. The styles are often temperamental, at times also meditative.
