Wandelkonzert durch drei Säle

In the Wandelkonzert durch drei Säle at the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Konzerthausorchester Berlin under conductor Vimbayi Kaziboni opens the nowHERE festival with music by Thomas Tallis, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Iannis Xenakis. In Xenakis's „Terretektorh“, 88 musicians spread through the space, wrapping the audience in sound and physical closeness. Percussionists Jan Westermann and Ingo Reddemann play among others Steve Reich, and the Berlin duo TEKNOIR ends the evening with a live set between ritual, club night and controlled escalation. Before the concert, a workshop introduces „Deep Listening“ in the method of Pauline Oliveros.
