About
„Wutschweiger“ is a classroom piece by Theater an der Parkaue, performed not in the theater but on site at Berlin schools. It is based on a text by Jan Sobrie and Raven Ruëll, translated from the Dutch by Barbara Buri, and directed by Alice Bogaerts with two performers. It tells of Sammy and Ebeneser, who are not allowed to join the school trip because their parents cannot afford the fee. Out of anger at this exclusion, the two decide to stay silent at school – and along the way their friendship grows ever stronger.
