About
The Zero Waste Future Festival is a celebration of waste avoidance, repair, reuse and upcycling. It is hosted by the Berliner Stadtreinigung (BSR), whose NochMall, the second-hand department store in Reinickendorf, turns into a huge workshop and ideas stage against waste. Visitors can fix broken devices with experts at the Repair Café, upgrade their favourite clothes with the costume collective and make glasses, accessories, advent decorations and cosmetics at upcycling stations. There is plenty for families too, from building your own instruments and a Zero Waste Kids supermarket to the smoothie bike and the Bacteria Bar.
