Zig-Zag City: new sculptures by Mark Handforth.

Zig-Zag City is an exhibition of new sculptural works by Mark Handforth at Galerie Thomas Schulte. It is his first solo exhibition with the gallery. The works hang, twist, sprawl out or illuminate, together forming a dynamic landscape that responds to the gallery space. Handforth draws on motifs from the urban fabric – brass, industrial LED tubes, a motorbike – playfully recontextualizing, rescaling or reconfiguring familiar elements so they take on new life.
