ZONE NULL & DORA BLEU

ZONE NULL & DORA BLEU is a live performance in which language and sound meet as equal, interwoven forms of expression. At its centre is Dora Bleu's spoken-word poetry with expressive singing and sparse, tension-filled guitar playing, while Zone Null – Tony Elieh and Burkhard Beins on electric bass and electronics – enrich the shared terrain with a sonic fiction ranging from musique concrète and electronic sounds to post-punk and avant-garde rock. The composition emerges in real time in the very moment it is heard, as sounds, pulse, fragments and silence enter an open dialogue with voice and meaning. Beyond clear hierarchies, a space thus arises in which language materializes and sound carries meaning.
