About
"A Midsummer Night's Dream: Globe Theatre" is an open-air staging of Shakespeare's playful, chaotic comedy about spells, transformations, and the fickle nature of love. Emily Lim, whose previous work includes Brighter Still and The Odyssey, directs the production. Four young Athenian lovers caught in a confusing love quadrangle flee into an enchanted forest, where mischievous fairies, the fairy king Oberon and queen Titania, and the trickster Puck ensnare them in a world of chaos, trickery, and midsummer madness. Performed in the sun-soaked open air of the Globe Theatre, the show offers an immersive and unforgettable theatrical treat.
