An afternoon show of live Balkan and Roma music at Jamboree, a venue for jazz, world and European folk music in King's Cross, London. The jam is led by Sarah Sljivovica and friends, playing mainly tunes and songs from the former Yugoslavian countries with a particular focus on Roma music. Listeners and musicians alike are warmly welcome: lyrics are provided for anyone who wants to sing, and repetition makes it easy to pick tunes up by ear or bring and teach new ones. Entry is free.
