Airforce with ex-Iron Maiden's Doug Sampson: raw metal.

A heavy metal night at the Cart and Horses pub in London, headlined by the band Airforce with DJ sets from Born Again of the Heavy Metal Soundhouse. Airforce grew out of the heart of UK metal with roots in the NWOBHM scene, and were formed in 1989 by Chop Pitman together with Doug Sampson, formerly drummer of Iron Maiden, plus vocalist Sam "Tomcat" Sampson and bassist Tony Hatton. The band deliver raw, riff-driven heavy metal anchored by driven drums, razor-sharp guitar hooks and powerful vocals, blending old-school metal spirit with thunderous energy. Citing influences such as Black Sabbath, Van Halen and Judas Priest, they fly the flag for the London rock scene.
