About

All Souls’ Service is a special service of choral music and readings for All Souls’ Day, one of St Bride’s most popular and most poignant services. St Bride’s Choir sings the Offertoire from the Requiem by Alfred Desenclos, after which the names of the dearly departed are read aloud and candles are lit on the altar in their memories. The choir then sings Allegri’s famous setting of Psalm 51, Miserere mei – Have mercy upon me, O God, after thy great goodness. The service lasts approximately one hour and all are welcome to attend.
